The Meaning Behind Our Logo
The logo of Congregation Netivot Olam reflects the mission, identity, and biblical convictions upon which our congregation is built.
Every element has been intentionally chosen to communicate our commitment to the ancient covenant paths revealed in Scripture and fulfilled in Messiah Yeshua.

Congregation Netivot Olam
The name Netivot Olam is drawn from Jeremiah 6:16, where YHVH calls His people to return to His established ways:
“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it.” — Jeremiah 6:16
Our congregation exists to encourage believers to rediscover and walk in these ancient paths of covenant faithfulness.

El nombre Netivot Olam proviene de Jeremías 6:16, donde YHVH llama a Su pueblo a regresar a Sus caminos establecidos:
“Así dice YHVH: Párense en los caminos y miren; pregunten por las sendas antiguas, cuál es el buen camino, y anden por él.” — Jeremías 6:16

The Menorah
The Menorah represents the light of YHVH, His presence among His people, and the illumination that comes through His Word.
Just as the Menorah continually burned in the Tabernacle and Temple, believers are called to shine as lights in the world, reflecting the truth and character of Elohim.

La Menorá
La Menorá representa la luz de YHVH, Su presencia entre Su pueblo y la iluminación que proviene de Su Palabra.
Así como la Menorá permanecía encendida continuamente en el Tabernáculo y en el Templo, los creyentes están llamados a ser luz en el mundo, reflejando la verdad y el carácter de Elohim.

The Torah Scroll and Flame
At the center of the shield stands an open Torah Scroll bearing a flame.
The Torah Scroll represents the eternal Word of God and His covenant instruction.
The flame symbolizes the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), who empowers believers to walk in obedience and writes God’s Torah upon the heart under the New Covenant.
Together they proclaim that the Spirit and the Word work in harmony, never in opposition.

El Rollo de la Torah y la Llama
En el centro del escudo se encuentra un rollo abierto de la Torah con una llama.
El rollo de la Torah representa la Palabra eterna de Dios y Su instrucción para Su pueblo del pacto.
La llama simboliza la obra del Ruaj HaKodesh (Espíritu Santo), quien capacita a los creyentes para caminar en obediencia y escribe la Torah de Dios en sus corazones bajo el Nuevo Pacto.
Juntos proclaman que el Espíritu y la Palabra trabajan en perfecta armonía, nunca en oposición.

Ephesians 2:20
Displayed within the shield is:
“Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Messiah Yeshua Himself being the cornerstone.”
This verse affirms that the Tanakh and the Brit Chadasha are not separate or competing revelations but one harmonious witness centered upon Messiah Yeshua.
Together they reveal the covenant purposes of YHVH from Genesis to Revelation.
Yeshua Himself remains the chief cornerstone upon whom all truth rests.
Efesios 2:20
Dentro del escudo aparece la referencia:
“Edificados sobre el fundamento de los apóstoles y los profetas, siendo la principal piedra angular el mismo Mesías Yeshua.”
Este versículo afirma que el Tanaj y la Brit Jadashá no son revelaciones separadas ni contradictorias, sino un solo testimonio armonioso centrado en el Mesías Yeshua.

“One Torah shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you.”
This verse expresses the biblical principle that there is one covenant standard for all who join themselves to the people of God.
It reflects the unity of Jew and Gentile in Messiah and the consistency of YHVH’s instruction throughout Scripture.

The words Tanakh and Brit Chadasha surround the shield to represent the entirety of Scripture:

Brit Chadasha — New Covenant Writings
Together they form one complete revelation of God’s redemptive plan and testify of Messiah Yeshua.

The Shield
The shield symbolizes faith, protection, and steadfast commitment to biblical truth.
It reminds us that God’s Word is our defense and that His covenant provides security for those who walk in His ways.

The Laurel Branches
The golden branches symbolize victory, faithfulness, perseverance, and the reward promised to those who endure.
They remind us that covenant obedience is not merely a beginning but a lifelong walk of faithfulness before YHVH.

Positioned beneath the shield is the verse that gives our congregation its name and mission:
“Ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it.”
Jeremiah 6:16 serves as the foundation of our vision.
It calls believers to return to the ancient covenant paths established by YHVH, confirmed by the Prophets, upheld by Messiah, and taught by the Apostles.

Congregation Netivot Olam exists to restore the ancient paths of Scripture by teaching the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings, and the Apostolic Writings as one unified revelation centered upon Messiah Yeshua, building believers upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets and calling all people to walk in covenant faithfulness before YHVH.

Patrick R. Menzies, MBA has spent over four decades in Ministry and is the founder and Pastor of Congregation Netivot Olam and Netivot Olam Ministries in Texas; which provides Bible-based studies grounded in historical, cultural, and contextual truth.
A U.S. Army veteran (Sergeant of the Year, Aviation), MBA graduate, and holder of a Mastery of Information Systems Management Certification, he also founded Belize’s national Jasmine Alert (Amber Alert) system and serves as President of the Alliance of Ministers and Leaders of Belize.
